Programming

The activities, programs of activities and themed weekends have a detailed description of the services included, prices and other information. Participants are invited to read carefully all items listed before choosing their option.

Reservations

• The activities, programs of activities and / or themed weekends activities reservations should be done in the best delays (10 days minimum);
• All reservations are subject to availability of Douro Pula Canhada;
• The minimum number of participants per activity, programs of activities and / or themed weekends is 2 adults, except for Team Building, to which the minimum number of participants required is 5 adults;
• The Bird Watching and touring on 4 Wheels activities are both limited to a maximum of 8 participants;
• The duration of each activity should be equal or higher than ½ day, being the cost of the activity registered for the same period of time;
• ½ day activities last between 3 to 4 hours while 1 day activities last between 7 to 8 hours;
• It can be chosen several isolated activities, in the circumstances described above, if the intended period to perform them is consistent with the availability of Douro Pula Canhada;
• For bookings of more than 1 program of activities, these will be performed sequentially if the desired period for their performance is consistent with the availability of Douro Pula Canhada;
• To reserve a program of activities and / or a themed weekend, activities can be added separately (if not originally contemplated) or other program of activities that will be performed sequentially under the circumstances described above.

Confirmation of reservations

The reservation is concluded by paying the full amount of the activity and / or services or by charging a pre-booking, charged directly to the customer at time of the booking. The remaining amount is paid by the customer directly to Douro Pula Canhada, before the activity and / or services.

Upon receipt of the above payment, Douro Pula Canhada will contact the client.

Discounts

• Infants (under 2 years, inclusive) are exempt from payment of any activity;
• Children aged between 3 and 10 years, inclusive, are entitled to 50% discount on the final price;
• Children aged between 11 and 15 years, inclusive, shall be entitled to 25% discount on the final price;
• Groups of more than 7 adults, inclusive, are entitled to a discount of 10% on the total amount of program (s) of activities and / or themed weekend chosen.

Cancellation and refund

We reserve the right to change or cancel programs, activities and / or themed weekends in case of: bad weather conditions, failure to achieve the minimum number of registrations; if any event occurs beyond our responsibility putting in question safety and / or integrity of the participants, equipment and / or goods. In these situations, participants will be informed immediately and refunded the registration fee, if they do not intend to change the activity by another one feasible. We are not responsible for any additional expenses that have been incurred by the registered participants.

Participants registered in the activities of ½ day or 1 day wishing to cancel them, shall do so in advance, 72 hours (3 days) by phone or email. For activities, programs of activities and themed weekends, which take several days, cancellations must be done in advance of 120 hours (5 days). The cancellation of any activity, program of activities and themed weekend, it is required to pay a registration or pre-booking, does not include the repayment of that amount, unless the cancellation is made within the agreed timeframe. You can also choose to transfer the registration to another activity, program of activities or themed weekend, respectively, which intends to conduct as well as to another participant, if previously communicated to the Douro Pula Canhada.

The services provided to Douro Pula Canhada, by its partners, are subject to separate terms and conditions.

Behavior

The Douro Pula Canhada promotes ecotourism activities, promotion of natural, cultural and environmental heritage. We expect a behavior of respect for nature and livelihoods of local visit by participants in our activities.

By visiting protected areas, we respect and advise participants to respect the code of conduct of protected areas established by the ICNF. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate one or more activities if we find behaviors that do not comply with this philosophy and standards of conduct established.

Food Services

The Douro Pula Canhada does not have its own restaurant service, using external services for such. We are not responsible for any bad services in this area. In such cases, participants must submit complaints to the responsible for this service.

Confidentiality of data

Personal data provided on the register form, newsletter subscription and in the request for information will be treated confidentially and it is designed for the stated purpose and evaluates the origin of visitors. The information collected will not be used for purposes other than those listed and will not be disclosed to third parties. You can modify or request deletion of your personal data by sending us an e-mail.

Photos and videos

During our activities we collect video and image to promote the business. If you wish not to make this information available please let us know in advance.

Licenses and Insurance

Douro Pula Canhada has the registration no. º 215/2012 of Turismo de Portugal, I.P. Its activities are recognized as Nature Tourism.

Prices for activities, programs of activities and themed weekends include personal accident insurance and liability insurance. The amounts of capital are covered by insurance in accordance with Decree Law n.º 186/2015 of 3 September, establishing the conditions of access to and pursuit of tourism companies.

Complaints

Douro Pula Canhada has a Book of Complaints and reports to the ASAE.
